Dr. Martin Nigsch

Founder & CEO

Martin holds a PhD in theoretical physics from TU Wien. As a director at reinsurer Swiss Re in Zurich he led data science and AI teams. He founded feld.ai in 2022 to turn difficult document sets into reliable inputs for daily work and decisions, and speaks about sovereign AI across the DACH region: talks & profile.

Patrick Fürst

CTO

Patrick has been building software professionally since 2018, including Crate.io in Vienna (distributed databases), Pupil Labs in Berlin (eye-tracking research) and a senior engineering role at Extrudr. His expertise spans large-scale data processing systems, machine learning, and real-time computer vision applications. At feld.ai he owns the architecture and the operation of the GPU infrastructure in Feldkirch.

Dmytro Shvetsov

Frontend Engineer

Dmytro builds the interface in which users review, correct and approve document data. He joined feld.ai in 2022 and previously worked on TypeScript and Angular applications at Dev.Pro and Processica.

Franz Weidmann

AI Engineer

Franz works on the language and vision models and the agents behind the feld.ai platform. He spent four and a half years as a deep learning engineer at CarCutter in Bregenz and worked as an ML engineer at arkulpa in Lustenau. MSc in Applied Computer Science with a focus on deep learning, Fulda University of Applied Sciences.

Fabian Wegele

Product Engineer & GTM

Fabian owns product and go-to-market at feld.ai. He spent four years at Kognic building products for autonomous vehicle perception, worked as a data engineer at Autonomous Intelligent Driving (Audi/VW) and Argo AI, and led product development at Teralytics in Zurich. MSc in Business Engineering, KIT.

AI Working Student

Fabian studies artificial intelligence in Linz and works on methods for real-world document sets.

Milestones

1. 2022

   Founded in Feldkirch

   Martin Nigsch founds feld.ai GmbH in Vorarlberg, supported by the aws Preseed DeepTech programme.

2. 2023

   Own GPU servers in Feldkirch

   Every AI model runs on our own hardware in our own data centre. No AWS, no Azure, no GCP.

3. 2024

   Large law firm: historical matter files

   Initial capture and curation of the file archive are complete, live process integration is underway.

4. 2025

   Logwin: Germany live, rolling out worldwide

   Invoice processing has been in production since May 2025, with more than 90% of invoice line items posted correctly.

5. 2026

   Natively integrated with Kendox

   feld.ai is built into Kendox InfoShare. Shared customers start processing inside the DMS environment they already know.

6. 2027 planned

   ISO 27001

   The information security management system is being built, with certification scheduled for 2027.

Location & infrastructure

feld.ai GmbH is registered in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg. The team works out of Rossstall Coworking in Dornbirn, about 20 minutes away.

Our GPU servers sit in our own data centre in Feldkirch. We run the hardware ourselves, we have physical access to it, and no document is handed to a US cloud provider. The legal side of that is documented on our sovereignty page.
